T R A N S F O R M E R S A N I M A T E D
Man.... I'm a tard.
I'm 18, and every time a new transformers animated episode comes out, I squeal like a fanboy. I'm drawing fanart, getting into the characters.... I am quite surprised at how much I'm enjoying the show actually. When I originally saw the designs for the characters, I was sure I would hate the show to bits. But... no, its growing on me like a space barnacle.
Bulkhead is definitely my fav character. Usually the big, clumsy, dull ones are such stupid characters, but Bulkhead..... He's just so sweet and cute. I really like him. I had a blast drawing him omg. I have a fanart in the making right now actually. Following close second is Bumblebee....sure his personality (and voice) get on my nerves a little here and there, but he's still cute...and his expressions are so fun.
Speaking of voices.... I was very shocked when I heard who some of the actors were. I mean, the guy who played Patrick from Spongebob SquarePants did Bulkhead... Spongebob himself did Starscream (who I don't really get the attraction to... He's like everyones fav character, but I honestly don't like him all that much) Johnny Bravo did Prowl.... and of course, Cree Summer... is there a show that she isn't in? (Incase you're wondering, Cree Summer does the voice of EVERY female in television since the 80's.... Foxxy Love from Drawn Together, Nefertina from Mummies alive, Susie Carmichael from Rugrats, Princess Kida from Atlantis....and approximately 70 other animated cartoon characters...she's been around)
Some things I don't like about the show though.....
1. The villains. WTF? Why are they so stupid? No, I'm not talking about the deceptacons, they are sweet. I mean the random human villains that haunt the occasional episode.... like that stupid princess thing that flew around on her toy unicorn and blew up toys? Or the robin hood themed guy who robbed people with his futuristic arrow things? 0_o OMG. they were so terrible.
2. The transformations. Just...XD they're bad. I haven't seen them transform once and have it look good.
3. The fact that they lost the original purpose of transformation: To hide in their environment. In the movie and original series, they were supposed to transform into vehicles in order to hide from the public eye...... um? In transformers animated, they start walking around the city and getting admired by the public within the first episode..... Its not that I particularly mind that in itself, but I don't think that it suits them at all.
Things that I do like about the show:
1. The Fun factor..... what more can I say? There are lots of fun little moments that just warm me up.
2. The interpretive parts. And by this I mean of course, the parts where Bumblebee flies into Optimus, and they wind up in a very suggestive position.....

. That show is just heaping full of little moments for the fangirls to pick at and find gay in.
3. The expressions..... they even manage to put emotion and expressions into their vehicle forms (mostly bumblebee) Very fun to watch.
So yeah.... thats my voice on the show. I can pretty much guarantee that there will be fanart from me in the future.
FEATURED WORKS
My most featured work today is a very well done animation....just really cute and funny and amusing. Definitely give it a view and maybe a fav....it really deserves more than it has. Check out

's entire gallery actually....she makes some very amusing stuff.
My Second Feature is by a deviant who makes (in my opinion) really interesting and pretty backgrounds... the way that he colours the rocks and does the lighting....it just really appeals to me, and it has NO attention at all. Its a good piece of art!

My Third Feature is a very neat piece.... I've always loved Monkey King images, and this one is really great. Give it more love people! This artist is a really great one

Finally, here is a picture that I quite like. I've recently gotten quite into the Ninja Turtles (I really want to draw fanart!) and this picture is really cute.

Please give these deviations some love. I feel personally that they are all great works with not nearly enough love.
