Aah, this here is pretty simple to do. Pretty much I have her whole body flooded with one colour (in this case pale blue) and then I just use the gradient tool to do some washes of white where I think she should be lighter. Then I used the free-select tool to select where I thought shadows should be...once i had the area nice and picked out, I did some gradients of brown, making sure to keep it fairly faded towards the "Line" of where the shadow begins....if that makes sense. I can totally show you how to do this via livestream. I'll be free on saturday night I think.
That would be amazing,.Riki!! I'm on call all weekend, but I'll keep my DA up and look for ya. Just gimme a time and I'll meet you :3. P.s.. ur awesome.
The standing pose is sexy because I got meg to draw the legs for me XD. And yeah......bandages...can't say it's the most practical outfit for running/jumping/killing in but hey, who said cartoon characters had to be practical? XD. Glad you like it!
yaaay. hahahah.... I was afraid I may have interpreted her description a bit too loosely, so I'm super relieved that you like it. She was SO fun to draw. I looooved doing her hair so much. And yay..now you have an official reference picture of her! hahah
Really like what you did with her cape and hair, you make a standing pose so sexy
I can see how the bandages are crucial to the design :}

I do detect her influence in your recent sketch of Embel :}
S/N: her chest is bandaged because her setting is Meiji/Edo Japan and its hard to kick ass with your tits bouncing all over <3
