My first Mario fanart...

So, I managed to slip this in between commissions. Its sort of a speed painting but not really because I did it in more than one sitting (I'm pretty sure that Speed painting requires that you never actually leave your pic till its done... may be wrong though.)
Took about 5 hours... I think... maybe less.

So yeah... this was actually a bit of practice in lots of different fields... perspective (which I think I failed), high opacity shading... big, burly men... etc. etc. Tried lots of new things in this. I really enjoyed doing it. Theres TONS of stuff I could refine and make look much nicer, but I need to get cracking down on my last few commissions so that I can take a break to do more of my own stuff... I'm so lazy lol.

Oh GOD, I adore whenever someone draws Mario in a very realistic look. It only makes it more hilarious and awesome. Look at the size of him, no wonder he can break blocks with his fist. Kudos!
