Update:
I changed a few things up, as per request of the commissioner...looks better too XD. Got rid of the kilt and is now just a loincloth, got rid of the headband, and revised the branches to make them look more like they're actually growing from him.
I also recieved some crit on the legs, so redid those as well..I'm much happier with the new ones :D

Commission for :iconsouless-omen:
This was very interesting (and flattering) commission to get. It's actually based off of one of my existing original concepts. My "NativeMoon" series was submitted a while ago, and Souless-Omen actually liked the concept of this particular image: [link] that he got a tattoo of it. AND THEN he hired me to design a male counterpart to that same image, so that it could go on his other arm as an opposite tattoo. Now how flattering is that?
I'm quite happy with how this turned out. I think I captured the exotic yet masculine look I was going for....... My only regret is that I inked it digitally and not traditionally.......it doesn't have the organic raw-ness to the the lines that the other one has.....I don't know that either method is better, but to me it means that the female version doesn't match perfectly with the male XD.
MMMm this makes me want to draw more NativeMoon stuff haha

Alien? Lol nope... "NativeMoon" is just the title I used to describe some print-style pictures I did up a while ago... it was a series of native-canadian (haida) art inspired pinups. You can find them in my gallery...
This pic was commissioned by someone who liked the female works, and wanted a male version. :)

Yeah, the blue was added as a contrast to the female NativeMoon girls red accents. I'd like to draw them next to each other now because I think that was a fun idea (it was the clients idea, not mine lol)
