It would hurt for that to happen to you!
I kind of got the impression in the series, watching kimimaro's moves, that they likely do cause him physical pain... they censored it in the anime, but in the manga, he BLED when the bones came out. I LOVE KIMIMARO!!! I forget what exactly inspired this picture, but I decided that I just had to do a tribute to him. I actually did this a while ago... but I haven't gotten around to submitting it until now. >_> his anatomy killed me... it still kills me, but not as much. Drawing a buff man from the side is hard. Try it... its hard. Textures are from [link]. All rights reserved... Character is copyright to masashi kishimoto Image is copyright to me. Do not resubmit anywhere without my permission. Do not modify without my permission. CommentsNow this is why I like Kimimaro. X3 I wish the horrific elements of his character had been more emphasized. Oh well, that's what the fandom is for right?
XD Aww no! Drawing men murders me too. Yours looks good though. I don't often write critiques but I hope that this helps. The flow of the picture is incredible, it all guides to a different area without confusing the composition. The picture is excellent! However, his forehead dot (cannot remember what it's called, forgive me) isn't drawn in profile. The obi on his waist seems to have disappeared in the back. It should stick out some more, like in the front. Another thing that I would like to add is that, in my opinion, his facial expression is too subdued. I understand that the character himself represses his agony, but since one of the purposes of this picture was to illustrate his pain, it detracts from the impact. I agree with all of your crit, but I must say that the obi was on purpose... XD. I know its supposed to turn into a giant bow, but I just couldn't find a way to include it... so I pretended it was cut off in battle. ;_;
I didn't use reference, which is probably why the dots (dot...) aren't correct... lol. As for his expression... you are right. What happened originally was in the doodle, the mood of the picture was intended to be very different. It was going to be serene... with pastel tones. But then the picture changed... but his expression didn't. lol. *ashamed* Thanks a lot for the comment though, I really appreciate it. *huggles* Next time I'll try to plan for a composition that allows for giant purple bows! -- He will swing, on a thread, through my window and into my bed Hey hey!
